Jenny recommended some events for other youth or junior riders to aim for, if they want to improve their cycling and get noticed by BC:

  • Scottish Cycling cluster sessions – all day training sessions and coach-led racing at the end
    • sessions at the Glasgow track
    • sessions at Edinburgh Ingliston
  • British Cycling Regional School of Racing

    • 5 road ones

I asked Jenny what riders need to do to get noticed by BC for performance programmes

  • Hetton – event that is furthest north
  • Scarborough
  • Milton Keynes
  • Youth Tour of Wales
  • Youth Tour of Scotland – not a national series
